เมื่อวันที่ 3 กรกฎาคม 2563 ศาสตราจารย์ดร.สุวัจน์ ธัญรส อธิการบดี พร้อมด้วยคณะผู้บริหารมหาวิทยาลัย ร่วมส่งมอบอุปกรณ์ในการป้องกันเชื้อโรคโควิด ๑๙ โดยเป็นการประดิษฐ์คิดค้น โดยคณาจารย์ บุคลากร ของคณะต่างๆ เป็นการร่วมกันป้องกันการแพร่ระบาดของเชื้อโรค ประกอบไปด้วย 1. หน้ากากผ้าสะท้อนน้ำ ผลงานคณะวิศวกรรมศาสตร์ 2. FACE SHIELD ป้องกันเชื้อโรค ผลงานคณะศิลปศาตร์ 3. กล่องป้องกันเชื้อโรคฟุ้งกระจาย และแผงกั้นการตรวจผู้ป่วย ผลงานคณะวิศวกรรมศาสตร์ 4. ชุดPPE ป้องกันสำหรับคุณหมอและพยาบาล ผลงานคณะสถาปัตยกรรมศาสตร์ ร่วมกับคณะบริหารธุรกิจ 5. สื่อเรียนรู้อะนิเมชั่น เข้าใจได้ง่าย ผลงานคณะครุศาสตร์อุตสาหกรรมและเทคโนโลยี   ซึ่งเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของโครงการอาสาพัฒนาชุมชนในสถานการณ์โรคโควิด-๑๙ และโครงการพัฒนาสร้างห้องความดันลบสำหรับผู้ปวยโรคโควิด-๑๙ เพื่อป้องกันการแพร่เชื้ออันตรายสู่ภายนอก แก่สถานพยาบาลในพื้นที่ จังหวัดสงขลา ตรัง พัทลุง นครศรีธรรมราช ปัตตานี และ มหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีราชมงคลศรีวิชัย เพื่อสร้างและพัฒนานวัตกรรมบริการทางวิชาการที่อาสาพัฒนาชุมชนในสถาณการณ์โรคโควิด-๑๙ ณ อาครศรีวิศววิทยา คณะวิศวกรรมศาสตร์ มทร.ศรีวิชัย สงขลา

สำนักงานอธิการบดี มทร.ศรีวิชัย ได้กำหนตจัดโศรงการพัฒนานวัตกรรมการให้บริการด้วย เกลโนโลยีดิจิทัล ประจำปึงบประมาณ พ.ศ.๒๕๖๓ เพื่อสร้างนวัตกรรมมาใช้ในการให้บริการภายในมหาวิทยาลัย และเพื่อสั่งเสริมให้นำนวัตกรรมมาใช้ในองค์กรเพื่อสร้งระบบการบริหาจัดการสมัยใหม่ ผลการประกวด

รางวัลชนะเลิศ ได้แก่ นายจักรพันธ์ ดงนคร สถาบันทรัพยากรธรรมขาติและสิ่งแวดล้อม จัดการ การจัดซื้อจัดจ้างและระบบติดตามสถานะด้วยแอพพลิเคชัน

รางวัลรองชนะเลิศอันดับ 1 ได้แก่ นายนวพล เทพนรินทร์ การพัฒนาเว็บแอ็บพลิเคซันในการสรรหาทรัพยากรบุคคล กองบริหารงานบุคคล

รางวัลรองชนะเลิศอันดับ 2 ได้แก่ นายศุภสัณห์ ชัยอนันตกูล ระบบบริหารจัดการใช้งานอาคารเรียนด้วยเทคโนโลยี ดิจิตอล
