The Office of Academic Resources participated in the 6th WALAI AutoLib Users Collaboration Group Seminar, held under the theme “AI and Library Systems.”

On August 28-29, 2024, from 8:30 to 9:00 a.m., the Office of Academic Resources and Information Technology participated in the 6th WALAI AutoLib Users Collaboration Group Seminar, under the theme “AI and Library Systems.” The event was held at the Saensabai Conference Room, Bangsaen Heritage Hotel.

Assistant Professor Sitthichoke Unkaew, Director of the Office of Academic Resources and Information Technology, assigned Mr. Thanapat Thamachot, Head of Academic Resources and Information Services, and Mr. Weerachai Inthanon, Librarian, to attend the 6th WALAI AutoLib Users Collaboration Group Seminar under the theme “AI and Library Systems.”

The seminar featured a lecture on “AI Technology and the Information Science Profession,” along with a panel discussion on “AI Technology in Library Services and WALAI AutoLib System.” The topics covered included the application of AI in library systems. On August 29, participants also visited the Burapha University Library in Bangsaen, Chonburi Province, for a study tour.
