On July 26, 2024, from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, the Office of Academic Resources and Information Technology conducted a training session on the use of the electronic document management system (e-document).
According to the strategy of Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya, creating a high-performance digital organization to accommodate global changes is a significant issue. The development and enhancement of a digital organization are part of the operations that help the institution achieve its multi-dimensional objectives. Planning for the transformation of the university into a digital organization, the Office of Academic Resources and Information Technology, as the main agency assigned to develop digital technology, aims to drive the university towards becoming a digital university in all dimensions. This includes enhancing the sending and receiving of documents through an online system and promoting a 100% reduction in paper usage across all campuses and areas of the university.
The training session was honored by the presence of Assistant Professor Sitthichok Janyong, Vice President of Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya, Trang Campus, who presided over the welcome speech for the speakers and delivered a report. The knowledge session was conducted by Assistant Professor Sitthichok Ounkaew, Director of the Office of Academic Resources and Information Technology, along with a team of speakers and assistants, including Mrs. Tipawan Phuttawiro, Head of General Administration, Miss Wanwisa Chulboonyasit, General Administration Officer, Mrs. Alipriya Rakkhlai, General Administration Officer, and Mr. Anon Longhan, Computer Science Practitioner from the Office of Academic Resources and Information Technology. They provided knowledge on using the electronic document management system (e-Document), including information on retiring documents through the e-signature system, merging/editing PDF files, shortening website names/QR codes, and using the RUTS app platform at the Self-Learning Room, Academic Services Building, RMUTSV Trang Campus.
